Seth Rogen to produce a Where’s Wally film

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have signed on to produce a film adaptation of the popular Where’s Wally? Books.  

The film has been in development hell since 2011, a number of studios have attempted to make the adaptation. But it has finally landed at MGM. Details of the plot are yet to be released and studio have yet to find their leading man. 


It’s been in development hell for just under a decade, but a live-action adaptation of Preacher is finally on its way. American network, AMC  have produced a 10-episode series, which is due to air early next year.

Seth Rogen and his long-term writing partner Evan Goldberg are responsible for adapting Garth Ennis’ critically acclaimed comic.

Seth Rogen said:

“It is our favourite comic of all time, and we’re going to do everything we can to do it right”.

Dominic Cooper stars as small-town preacher Jesse Custer whom merges with an otherworldly being. He’s on a mission to find God. Along the way he teams up with his ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and Irish vampire, Cassidy (Joe Gilgun).

Ruth Negga cast in Preacher 

Ruth Negga (Misfits.) has been cast as the female lead in Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s Preacher series for AMC.

Preacher is based on a 90’s comic by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. 

The book follows Jesse Custer, a Texas preacher whom has the ability to make anyone do anything he says. 

Negga is the first actor cast in the pilot and will take the role of Jesse’s ex-girlfriend, Tulip,  who joins him on a quest to literally find God. 

She’s described as:

a volatile, action-packed, sexified force of nature, a capable, unrepentant criminal with a love of fashion and ability to construct helicopter-downing bazookas out of coffee cans and corn shine who’s not afraid to steal, kill or corn cob-stab her way out of a bad situation.

The film see talk-show host Dave Skylark (Seth Rogen) and his producer, Aaron Rapoport (James Franco), score an exclusive interview with Kim Jong-Un, dictator of North Korea.
All goes well until the CIA ask them to assassinate him.

The film is out in the UK on October 29th.
