Christopher Eccleston wins an Emmy

Christopher Eccleston has won an international Emmy, for his role in Jimmy McGovern’s Accused. The show also won best drama series.
In the accused Eccleston played a plumber who was arrested after the £20,000 he found in a cab, turned out to be fake.
A second series of the Accused starring Sheridan Smith is currently in production, other cast members include: Anne-Marie Duff (Shameless) and Olivia Colman (Peep Show) Robert Sheehan (Misfits), Joe Dempsie (Game Of Thrones), John Bishop (Skins) and Thomas Sangster (Doctor Who).
